  • “I have been working with Sarah for over three years now, primarily in connection with several previously undertreated neurodivergences. Not only has she provided comfort, support, and guidance during intense periods of distress, she has also taught me how to navigate and understand the neurotypical world much more easily on a day-to-day basis, in part by helping me see my differences as superpowers instead of shameful things to hide away. Because of her extensive experience and depth of knowledge (coupled with her uncanny ability to come up with incredibly useful, vivid analogies in an instant), she has also helped me understand the “why” behind many confusing interactions or experiences in my life, which in turn has increased my confidence across the board.” -A, female

  • "As someone who has years of experience seeing mental health practitioners, I can safely say Sarah is one of the best therapists I've worked with. I was recently diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, and have been struggling to both integrate these diagnoses into my life and understand what they mean for me. Sarah gets me and gets neurodivergence in a profound way. It's such a relief to talk to someone who understands the weird and wonderful way my brain works. I've been seeing Sarah for over a year, and I couldn't ask for a more empathetic and caring support system to guide me on my mental health journey. I highly recommend Sarah as a therapist!Creative, reliable, and genuinely passionate about what they do." -J, female

  • "The evaluation process was clear, private, and easy; having the proper diagnosis has opened new doors for both myself and my family." -C, Expat

  • "After what has seemed like a lifetime of therapy, Sarah has been able to help me understand myself more clearly than anyone I have worked with. She is observant, kind, direct, and honest. Her ability to listen, engage, and support is invaluable. I learn something new about myself every session and it has helped me understand my unique path in life. "-K

  • "I understand my kid, and myself in a new way. Sarah supported our identity as a family, and was helpful in accessing medical care." - S

  • "I'm new to the therapy and evaluation process, but when I said I feel like an "NPC" in my own life, and she laughed, I knew I was in the right nerdy hands"-T, male

Approach

Almost 20 years ago, I started in the field as an oncology therapy intern where I saw firsthand the covalent bond of physical and psychological health. I learned early on that system integration is the key to healing; and it's a lesson I've carried with me. This concept is imperative to the divergent mind given its linked medical conditions and experiences that can often mimic and co-occur with common mental health concerns like anxiety and depression.

I am lucky to have held roles in emergency medicine evaluation, primary care, substance abuse, residential/ inpatient care, including senior leadership. Every step of the way, l've always been partial to the "odd ducks".

I see adults, teens, couples, and family members of humans that feel out of place, sense their brain is just “spicier” than others, or identify as neurodivergent including ADHD/ Autism.
